The Chief Executive Officer of Life Page Group, Mr Oladipupo Clement, has said that the real estate industry can create an additional source of income for those who are looking for a side hustle, as well as jobs for the teeming unemployed populace.
Clement on Saturday on the sidelines of the Nigerian Real Estate Millionaire Boot camp held in Lagos said the seminar was aimed at solving housing, unemployment and poverty problems, stressing that entrepreneurship was the way forward as oil prices were falling in the global market.
“For those who are thinking that one source of income is not sufficient to pay their bills, they need an extra source of income, and real estate can be a side hustle. It can be used to facilitate an additional source of income.
“Over the years, our vision is summarily in making life easier for people, creating entrepreneurs. We identified real estate as one of those veritable tools for making that happen. Equipping and empowering people, making them understand how real estate work and how they can make money from it,” Clement said.
He noted that the seminar was organised to train people who want to go into real estate, as well as providing jobs for the teeming unemployed populace.
Clement, however, stressed that people don’t necessarily need a huge sum of money to succeed in the real estate industry.
He said, “If you don’t have the financial capacity, the real estate industry can help you to gain ground, not every Nigerians have the big pocket, and this is what this seminar is all about, connecting buyers with sellers. Once you attend relevant training and get registered, we show you the process and principles.
“Part of the courses we take in this boot camp is understanding land titles and documentation and we also understand that there are a lot of misconceptions about what titled documents mean,” he submitted.
