A 27-year-old man living in Los Angeles, California, has already fathered 18 children, but doesn’t play the role of ‘dad’ to any of them — and that’s just how the mothers wanted it.
Kyle Gordy’s Facebook page features a string of positive pregnancy tests, which he proudly shows off. But his happiness isn’t about raising kids of his own; he’s thrilled to be helping women, who want children by donating his sperm.
To date, he’s fathered 18 kids, and those positive pregnancy tests on his page indicate he’s impregnated even more women in the past few months.
According to Mirror, which christened him ‘the world’s most popular sperm donor’, his sperm donation services have become quite in-demand since he first started advertising them on Facebook four years ago.
“I’m a very, very popular guy. One hundred people hit me up every month. I’m in high demand. I can’t help everyone but I usually donate to between two and five people every month,” he said, noting that his services are free.
Gordy works with both single women and couples, who aren’t getting pregnant on their own. While most of the women he’s donated to simply take a sample of his sperm and inject it at home with a syringe, about a quarter of them have sex with him to get pregnant the old-fashioned way.
“When we have sex, we try to make it fun,” he said.
The 27-year-old first decided to donate his sperm in his early 20s when he realised that he simply got too bored in relationships.
“Sperm donation gives me an outlet, I have no pressure to find a girlfriend but I still get to have children. For me, sperm donation is a substitute for having a girlfriend,” he said.
On Facebook, he lists his job as ‘CEO of sperm donating at sperm donor’. His first clients, a couple, now have a four-year-old child and a 14-month-old child— both through his donations.
