Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari has relieved all his Special Assistants of their appointments. On Wednesday, he attributed the decision to the expiration of his first term in office. A statement personally signed by Mustapha Inuwa, the Secretary to the State Government, conveyed Governor Masari’s directive. The Governor thanked the aides for working with him, praying for God’s guidance for them in their future endeavours.
On Wednesday, the statement issued in Katsina read in parts, “His Excellency, the Governor of Katsina state, Rt.Hon.Aminu Bello Masari, CFR, has relieved all Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants of their appointment with effect from 29th May 2019.
“This follows the expiration of the first tenure of the state administration.” The Governor seized the opportunity to thank all of them for serving the state in their various capacities as his aides throughout the first tenure. “Rt.Hon.Aminu Bello Masari prayed for them, God’s guidance in their future endeavours.” Governor Masari had last Friday relieved all his commissioners of their appointments.
