The figures were released in Abuja on Friday by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation and Youth Employment, Office of the Vice-President, Mr Afolabi Imoukhued.
For instance, he stated that N30,000 monthly was paid to the 500,000 youths, beginning from December 2016 till date.
He stated that 200 beneficiaries in the first batch received a total of N180bn between December 2016 and June this year, a period covering 30 months. He put the monthly bill at N6bn.
Imoukhued told reporters that another N9bn was paid between August 2018 and June 2019, bringing the total to N99bn for the second batch of 300,000 beneficiaries.
