The complainant reported that Magaji, who is his neighbour, on the said day, lured his 11-year-old daughter into a nearby uncompleted building, where he allegedly had penetrative sex with her and thereafter gave her N20.
Acting on the report, the police sent detectives, who arrested Magaji and charged him for rape in accordance with Section 283 of the Penal Code Law.
Maruf, on the other hand, was alleged to have had forceful carnal knowledge of a 14- year-old-girl at the Kofar Marusa Quarter, Katsina, on October 30, 2019.
He was also charged with offence of rape in line with Section 283 of the Penal Code Law.
The prosecution pleaded with the court to adjourn the two cases to enable the police conclude investigations.
The presiding magistrate subsequently granted the request and adjourned the two cases to December 11, 2019 and January 16, 2020, respectively for mention.
