The competition begins December 27, with 370 participants from 32 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The logo combines wording and symbols to synchronise Qur’an with Lagos map and colours. Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC).
Otunba Abdul-Fatai Olukoga said arrangements were in place for a successful hosting. He said the competition was aimed at strengthening participants’ connection to the Qu’ran.
“The competition … brings Muslim youths, who have committed the Qu’ran to memory, together…” he said. According to him, prizes to be won include Hajj tickets, tricycles, motorcycles, and cash.
