Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, on Monday, inaugurated members of his cabinet, consisting 17 commissioners and some newly-appointed special advisers.
The governor urged them to work hard to move the state to the next level.
He said, “The present administration in the state since inception in 2015 undertook giant strides to improve the welfare of the Katsina people and has accordingly impacted positively on their socio-economic well-being.
“We intend to consolidate the gains so far achieved in security management, agriculture, education, health water supply, infrastructural development, skills acquisition and empowerment sectors, among others as initiated under the ‘Restoration Agenda’ of the present administration.
“Let me reiterate that you have been carefully selected as I strongly believe that we share common aspirations and a common destiny.
“I therefore enjoin you to work with full dedication, loyalty, commitment, high sense of duty, self-discipline and good financial management and budgetary discipline.”
Masari told members of the cabinet that their performances would be monitored in order to ensure delivery of good governance.
