The lawmaker representing the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Joseph Bello, has urged Muslims to allow the lessons of Ramadan to reflect in their lives just as he had congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello for his victory at the tribunal.
He said, “As Muslims, because we have devoted the past 29 days to worship and pray to Almighty Allah in total submission, perseverance, humility and kindness to our neighbours, besides avoiding other sinful acts; it is, therefore, only logical to sustain this pious state, even after the Ramadan fast so that the lessons of the holy month of Ramadan would continue to remain dominant factors in our individual and collective lives.
“The Almighty Allah has chosen this period to prove to Kogi people that he is the one who chose our governor.”
