The Senate would start the consideration of the Finance Bill upon its acceptance from the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), said the spokesperson for the Senate, Dr Ajibola Basiru.
The Senate Spokesperson stated this on Monday, while giving an explanation on the issues that the red chamber would be deliberating upon their resumption for plenary today (Tuesday).
Basiru said, “We are going to work on the Petroleum Industry Bill and the Constitution amendment Act.
“We would also receive the Finance Bill for consideration and approval because it is part of what we would need for the operations and implementation of the 2021 budget.”
Meanwhile, it was also revealed that the senate would at plenary make its position known on the #EndSARS protests and its effects on Nigerians.
