The Imo State Assembly has approved a budget of N332.831 billion for the 2021 fiscal year on Monday.
This budget also excludes the Consolidated Revenue Fund Charge of N13.3bn making it a total of N346.1bn.
The state governor, Hope Uzodinma had presented the budget for consideration and approval on Wednesday last week.
The approval followed the adoption of the report presented by a committee of the House Committee on Appropriations chaired by the Speaker, Paul Emeziem, during a special session.
Out of the figure approved, N271.5bn was projected for capital expenditure while recurrent expenditure is to gulp N61.3bn.
The office of the governor received the highest allocation for recurrent expenditure with N11.471bn while Works received the highest vote for capital expenditure with N83.09bn.
